To the Pine Hill Schools Staff and Community:

“Our mission is to nurture and develop students who will meet the challenges of today’s ever-changing society while perpetuating their culture and language.”

We must always remember this mission and embrace it as our sacred duty to our students. These are not merely words displayed on a wall or printed in a document. They are a commitment that each of us must adopt and put into practice every day.

When we live by our mission, we put our school and students first. We begin to work in unison, guided by a shared purpose and a common focus. We can put aside personal grudges and differences and learn to work together professionally for the good of our students.

Strong organizations understand that people will not always agree. However, they learn to disagree respectfully, engage in professional dialogue, and continue working together toward their common goals. My sincere hope is that we will demonstrate that spirit throughout this school year.

As superintendent, I make decisions based on what I believe is best for Pine Hill Schools as a whole. I must ensure that every classroom has appropriate coverage and that our students’ educational needs are met. I understand that not every decision will be popular, but each decision is made with the interests of our students and school community in mind.

Let us make the best use of the people, resources, and opportunities available to us. Let us support one another, remain committed to our mission, and work together to provide our students with the education they deserve.
